What is the history of the Write! Write! service?
- April 3 2024 Adam mentions the idea of a daily writing practice web application.
- April 7 Work starts on putting the web application together in Rails 7.
- April 30 Users are able to create an account, sign into the site via a link in email, and write new pieces. The site understands what 'a streak' is and tells the user how they are doing.
- May 4 2024 The About and History pages are added.
- May 11 The social aspects of the service are in place.
- May 23 The editor auto-saves and counts the words as you write. With four actual users signed up we have turned on a little more server power to get them their pages a little faster.
There is also a page about the service.
